Part of an exploratory series, these exercises are designed to encourage feminist citational practices in which the process is envisioned as a means of public thinking through a media object without the pressure of polish or publishing. In other words, we encourage you to embrace the mess of discovering through doing to see where it can take you on the timeline.
These exercises are intended as starting points and means to investigate your objects of study and approaches to them. They start out as homages to specific videographic essayists and through your use, evolve in ways that will hopefully be useful to you and your work.

- Dis/Re/Orienting Cinematic Language: Barbara Zecchi’s Feminist Mechanisms
- Making Materiality Matter: Johannes Binotto’s Art of the Process
